Historical Society Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is the Society's annual fundraiser which consists of an afternoon of fun, food, musical entertainment, reenactment groups, crafts and pioneer demonstrations. The Fall Festival also includes a full schedule of children's activities along with a special Children's Pioneer Costume Contest.

The Society acknowledges the Deerfield, Bannockburn, Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce and the local business and service organizations who have gratefully supported ongoing restoration projects, the annual Fall Festival and other special programs.

Deerfield Family Days
A local celebration brings families and friends together on the 3rd and 4th of July. The Deerfield Lions, Optimists and Rotary help coordinate the two day holiday activities focusing on fireworks, mini marathon, pancake breakfast, Independence Day Parade, arts and crafts show, rides and games. New this year: 3rd of July Fireworks will take place at Brickyards Park, 375 Elm Street! Click here for more info.

Plaza Pleasures
Every Saturday morning from June 14 through October 11 at 7 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. at the Farmers Market. Join us each Saturday morning. Click here for the 2008 schedule. The Plaza is located in the commuter parking lot.

American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO)

AYSO is a national soccer development organization that provides youth soccer programs throughout the country.

AYSO's mission is to provide quality programs which help to build positive character through participation in a family environment based on these AYSO philosophies:

  • everyone plays
  • balanced teams
  • open registration
  • positive coaching
  • good sportsmanship

The core values that guide all AYSO activities are:

Accessible to All

Deerfield AYSO uses Deerfield Park District outdoor facilities, with field sizes suitable for the age and ability level of participants. AYSO is an all volunteer organization relying on the time and talents of parents and other volunteers to make the program a success.

Who says baseball is America's pastime? Come on out and play, coach or referee the greatest, most popular sport in the world - SOCCER!
